The Person That You Are

THE PERSON THAT YOU ARE is a solo zine making game about expressing the specific person that you are and how that person emerged.

It was inspired by the feeling I get when I listen to music that I used to listen to a lot and haven't thought about in a long time, a feeling that there's something there to capture about who I was and what that means that I can't quite grasp. 

It also takes some inspiration from the the idea of an archival finding aid. When archivists have a room full of stuff (an archive), they have to find a way to make sense of it for an audience. They may create several finding aids to make sense of the same collection different ways. I was playing around with the idea of a person as an archive.

It is the first of a series of games which fit on one (occasionally double sided) poster. The idea is that altogether they might create an exhibit that functioned both as a series of playable experiences and as collection of playable experiences that you can think about as a whole in addition to or instead of playing them.
